It was a game the Miami Heat had every chance of winning, then the fourth quarter started, and every chance they had up until that point almost vanished until the last few minutes, as the Houston Rockets eventually shut the Heat down to take the 123-122 win.
Miami entered Saturday night's matchup trying to course correct a three-game losing streak, on the road against a Houston squad that needed to build on a win over the Atlanta Hawks the night before. The Heat failed in their goal; the Rockets succeeded.
The loss dropped the Heat to 38-33, keeping them in play-in hell, and, worse yet, marked a fourth straight loss following a seven-game win streak.
